Twin 24-inch Eizo monitors are controlled by a fully loaded Mac Pro & built in RAID 5 storage system, with your data backed up to multiple devices immediately. Rest assured BigVan has been designed from the ground up around the protection of your data.

High speed file processing (Canon MkIII files in 4seconds) means no more viewing low-res files for approval. Dual monitors allow you to run your favourite image capture software on one screen & Photoshop CS4 on the other. File composition on location has never been easier.

The workspace also allows for your retoucher to sit alongside the digi tech if getting a head start on the job is required. Files can be transferred across the onboard network.

A dedicated camera Wi-Fi network gives the ability to shoot at greater distances from the unit base with camera manufacturers WFT units. If your shoot is intermittent or closed-set is required your client can sit in air-conditioned comfort & see the shoot unfold on the twin screens in real time.

Big Van also has the ability to add a third monitor offering a TVC style “Agency” area under one of the Ezy-ups for a dedicated viewing option away from the main capture computer if desired. Include the option of an Epson 17inch printer & you have a workstation that covers every base.

After spending the last 10 years working on some of this industry’s largest outdoor productions, David Brogan (former producer to Sean Izzard – www.seanizzard.com) has developed BigVan. It is the first mobile, all-in-one solution aimed squarely at location digital production and fits as comfortably in Surry Hills as it does Broken Hill.

David’s concept is based around a long time desire to transform location photography into a more relaxing, enjoyable & creatively rewarding experience for photographers, producers & their clients alike.

Further, the inclusion of David himself as unit manager, with his past experience across all areas of photography & photographic production, makes BigVan the complete package.

Be it shooting in a house in Bellevue
Hill or by the side of the road 300 kilometres outside of Alice Springs. The vehicle will include a state of the art digital capture workstation comprising of the latest in Apple Computers & real
time digital storage, offering photographers the security & stability they love so much about shooting in their studio, anywhere in Australia.

The vehicle will also provide a dedicated Hair & Make up area in the rear of the vehicle along with ample wardrobe storage & talent change area. There will be a client area with L shaped
leather lounge in the forward area giving those that require it full view of what is unfolding outside, along with refrigeration for drinks & catering & a REAL Espresso machine for great
coffee anywhere! This will all take place in a fully climate controlled environment.

Power will be delivered via a combination of solar electricity, conventional generators & an onboard 800Ahr battery system charged every time the vehicle is driven.
